Jane has twenty plus years experience in a variety of HRD consulting roles. She is managing owner of CATALYST SYSTEMS, a company providing services in Executive, Management, Team and Individual development as well as competency - based HRD practices. She specializes in Executive Coaching as well as High Potential identification and development.

As a Lominger Limited Inc. Associate since 1992, she has been assisting numerous organizations in certifications and implementation roll-outs of the Leadership Architect® Suite of competency based products, since Lominger came to market. Implementations range from integrating one tool/practices into an existing HRD system through reengineering full set of the Human Resources processes into an integrated, competency-based system, aligned with the corporate strategies where managers and employees perform with shared accountability.

Jane has been admitted to the Motorola Faculty of Executive Resource Services as an executive coach.

She assists HRD professionals in mastering the assessment and development planning of learning agility as they identify successors and high potential/talent pool. The professionals learn to both use the agility tools and integrate the practices into development planning for leaders.

Jane plans and conducts senior management and other leadership retreats/institutes for such objectives as: Defining the business priorities and relating these imperatives to competencies
needed to run and sustain the strategic plans/ 360° feedback plus targeted development planning/
Assessing progress toward high performing work teams

Jane has conducted two large research projects:
"State of the 360 Market" study for a leading producer of 360°s in 1996
"Competencies of an Exemplary Facilitator" for the Association for Quality & Participation
(AQP) in 1995. This study yielded a three day program she co-presents for AQP up to 7 times per year. She and her co-presenter are currently authoring Vol. 1&2 development strategies for an exemplary facilitator.

She has designed numerous action learning workshops for leaders and facilitators including:
Coaching Development / Coaching Learning /Competency Development Lab

Background

Jane has a BA in Psychology from Seton Hill College; M. Ed. and ABD in Curriculum and Supervision from University of Pittsburgh. She is a member of The International Coach Federation (ICF), national ASTD, Pittsburgh ASTD, HRPS, Pittsburgh HRPS, AQP, and SHRM.

She has served on the 1994 HRPS Conference Planning Committee and as past president for three years of Pittsburgh HRPS. She served on the Board of Directors for the Pittsburgh Literacy Council for three years. She is currently an active member of the Allegheny Policy Council's Commission on the Career and Academic Passport.


HR Professional Experience: In House

Prior to managing CATALYST, Jane served The Medical Center at Beaver as Leadership Development Consultant for one year and Consolidated Natural Gas Company Inc. as Manager of Training and Development for 13 years at their headquarters. Deliverables included:

Leadership Development Program designed to support strategic redirection to patient-focused care.

Co-planning design and implementation of a corporate wide, top-down, cultural change management program for CEO (still in progress in 1998).

Designing and implementing a Professional Development Program for CFO (an internal 40 CPE hour/yr. Program for CPAs, CIAs, CFAs and CMAs).

Designing and later re-aligning for updated strategy a corporate wide Succession Planning and Development System; including high potential identification and development planning.

Coordinating corporate wide training and development initiatives.

Serving as Project Manager and subject in CCL Research Study on Learning Agility
