Dr. Gerald Nilsson-Weiskott is a Principal of the Leadership Development Group (LDG), based in Columbus, Ohio. He has over 25 years of experience in a variety of Human Resource and Organizational Development Consulting roles.

LDG is a key strategic resource, providing executive coaching, organizational and team consulting, and training and development services to help organizations build their leadership capacity. Jerry specializes in succession planning, culture change, the human side of mergers and acquisitions, leadership development and assessment, team development and facilitation, change management, and executive coaching.

Jerry has designed, implemented, and facilitated several emerging leader programs, and is sought out for his facilitation skills in the areas of leadership and development planning, communication skills, team management, coaching skills, and competency based training. He is certified in Lominger's Leadership Architect Suite, Benchmarks, LIFO, Workplace Big 5, DISC and several other assessment tools.

Jerry retains an appointment at the Ohio State University and lectures for the School of Public Policy and Executive Education. He is a past president of the Central Ohio American Society for Training and Development and is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), National ASTD, SHRM, and the Ohio Psychological Association. In addition, he has served on numerous pubic and private sector boards (including those on the NASDAQ).

He is certified as a Hudson Institute Coach and received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1975.
