Dan Moss founded the Moss Consulting Group, LLC after more than thirty-five years of work experience in large corporations through a diverse number of human resource and executive development assignments. Dan was with International Paper for over twenty-two years and held roles from Director, Executive Development to Director, Human Resources for the Hammermill businesses. In the former role he worked with senior executives in the identification, development, assignment and coaching of the top high-potential leadership talent across the corporation. He also championed a new competency-based performance and career management system. Previously, he was with The Standard Register Company where he held several positions including Director, Human Resources and Corporate Manager, Management Development.

He has extensive "hands-on" experience in the design and execution of competency-based leadership development tools, processes and systems across an enterprise, specifically in the areas of performance management, succession planning, high potential talent management and multi-rater feedback / coaching. Dan has worked with numerous managers, executives and high potential talent as a feedback facilitator and coach. He has designed and conducted workshops for managers and human resource professionals on Developing Leaders, Facilitating Feedback, Coaching and Performance Management.

He has a bachelor's degree in education and has completed graduate work in business and psychology. Dan has been a speaker on leadership development topics at professional conferences and seminars.

Dan is a Lominger Associate skilled in the use of their broad range of researched-based tools, processes and services. He also is a certifier for Lominger's LEADERSHIP ARCHITECT® suite of products.

His firm consults with senior management and functional groups in the areas of interviewing / selection, competency modeling, leadership development, succession planning, team building and performance management. He also provides executive coaching, and multi-rater feedback assessment.
